Return Policy

Effective Date: Feburary 22, 2026.

Mukwa Safety Services Inc. (“Mukwa”, “we”, “our”, or “us”) supplies regulated personal protective equipment (“PPE”) and safety products to commercial, industrial, and institutional clients. Due to the health, hygiene, and regulatory nature of PPE, returns are restricted and governed by this policy and applicable Ontario and Canadian legislation.

1. GENERAL POLICY

All sales are final unless expressly permitted under this policy.

Returns, refunds, or exchanges are subject to inspection, approval, and compliance with safety and regulatory requirements. Mukwa reserves the right to refuse any return that does not meet the conditions set out below.

2. NON-RETURNABLE ITEMS

For health, hygiene, and worker safety reasons, the following items cannot be returned or exchanged once delivered, unless defective or shipped in error:

Respirators, masks, and cartridges

Disposable or reusable gloves

Hearing protection (earplugs, earmuffs)

Eye and face protection (safety glasses, goggles, face shields)

Protective clothing (coveralls, gowns, suits)

Any PPE that has been opened, worn, used, altered, or removed from original packaging

Custom, special-order, or non-stock items

Clearance, discontinued, or final-sale items

These restrictions align with CSA standards, the Occupational Health and Safety Act (Ontario), and standard PPE industry practices.

3. ELIGIBLE RETURNS (LIMITED)

A return may be considered only if all of the following conditions are met:

Return request submitted within 14 calendar days of delivery

Product is unused, unopened, unaltered, and in original manufacturer packaging

Product is in resalable condition

Proof of purchase is provided

Approval of any return is at the sole discretion of Mukwa Safety Services Inc.

4. DAMAGED, DEFECTIVE, OR INCORRECT ITEMS

If an item is received damaged, defective, or incorrect:

Notify Mukwa within 5 business days of delivery

Provide photos and order details

Do not use the product

Upon verification, Mukwa may, at its discretion:

Replace the item

Issue a credit

Coordinate return, disposal, or manufacturer warranty processing

Manufacturer warranties, where applicable, remain in effect and may require direct manufacturer handling.

5. RETURN AUTHORIZATION (RMA)

All approved returns require a Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) number issued by Mukwa prior to shipment.

Returns received without an RMA:

May be refused

May be returned at the customer’s expense

Will not be credited

6. RESTOCKING FEES

Approved returns may be subject to a restocking fee of up to 25%, depending on:

Product type

Condition upon inspection

Manufacturer restocking charges

Original shipping, handling, and delivery charges are non-refundable.

7. SHIPPING RESPONSIBILITY

Customers are responsible for all return shipping costs, unless the return is due to Mukwa’s error

Returned items must be shipped using a trackable shipping method

Risk of loss remains with the customer until the return is received and accepted by Mukwa

8. REFUNDS & CREDITS

Approved refunds are issued to the original payment method or as a store credit, at Mukwa’s discretion

Processing time: 7–14 business days following inspection and approval

Store credits may be subject to expiration dates, particularly under contract or bulk pricing arrangements

9. COMMERCIAL, CONTRACT & BULK ORDERS

Orders placed under:

Contract pricing

Bulk purchase agreements

Institutional, infrastructure, or nuclear supply agreements

are governed by contract-specific return terms, which supersede this policy where applicable.

10. ACCOUNTING, ERP & INVENTORY CONTROL

All returns and credits are processed only after:

Physical inspection

Safety verification

Inventory disposition review

Credits may be applied to future invoices at Mukwa’s discretion. Inventory disposition decisions are final and documented for audit purposes.

11. LEGAL COMPLIANCE (ONTARIO & CANADA)

This policy complies with applicable legislation, including but not limited to:

Consumer Protection Act, 2002 (Ontario)

Sale of Goods Act (Ontario)

Occupational Health and Safety Act (Ontario)

Nothing in this policy limits a consumer’s statutory rights regarding defective or misrepresented goods under applicable law.

12. POLICY MODIFICATIONS

Mukwa Safety Services Inc. reserves the right to:

Modify or update this policy at any time

Refuse returns that do not meet safety or regulatory requirements

Determine product resalability based on health and safety considerations

The version of this policy posted on our website at the time of purchase governs the transaction.
